Updating Symantec Endpoint Protection
Keeping antivirus software up-to-date is essential to keeping your computer protected on a network as well as on the internet. Follow the steps below to ensure that Symantec gets updated to protect your PC.
Step 1
Open the "Start Menu", point to "All Programs", and click "Symantec Endpoint Protection".
Step 2
On the lefthand side of the window, click on the "LiveUpdate" button to launch the updater program.
Step 3
LiveUpdate will automatically check for, download, and install updates automatically.
Step 4
Once LiveUpdate has finished, you can click the "Close" button. Note that this window may close on its own. After, close all Symantec Windows.
